Updating Membership Information

Updating your physical mailing address or your email address is easy on the JALT site. Follow these steps, or, if you prefer visuals, see this PDF with annotated screenshots (for mobile and computers).

1. First, be sure you're logged in to the JALT site. In the top right of this page, if you see Sign In, click that link, and log in to the JALT site with your email and password.
2. In the top right of the page, click My Account.
3. On your account page, you'll see a "View" tab and an "Edit" tab. Click the "Edit" tab.
4. If you are updating your email, you'll have to type your password at the top of the "Edit" page, then type your new email in the "Email Address:" text area.
5. If you want to update your mailing address or other information on this page, scroll down and type your new address information.
6. Scroll down, and click the Save button.

If you have changed your email:

• Please note that this won't change your email address for the JALT Talk newsletter or any other newsletter from your chapter or SIG. You may actually end up subscribed under both email addresses. You'll have to contact your chapter and SIG to request an email change, or follow the instructions that should be included in the email newsletters that you have received.
• If you are a JALT officer, you'll have to change your email on Basecamp, too.
