Annual membership fees
年会費
- Regular member: 13,000 yen
- Overseas Regular Member: 11,000 yen (No printed JALT publications – online only)
- Five-year membership: 52,000 yen
- Joint member (2 people who share the same address; only one copy of each publication is sent to the address on file): 10,500 yen per person
- Student member (Available to full-time students of undergraduate or graduate universities, vocational schools, technical schools, or other degree-granting programs. This program is designed to help people who are just getting started in the field and do not have the income benefits of a full-time job. Part-time work is O.K. Submit the JALT Verification of Full-time Status for Student Membership form, the institution’s certificate of enrollment (在学証明書), or other document provided by the institution clearly indicating full-time status. Student ID is insufficient. Document must be forwarded to JALT Central Office by post (Level 20 Marunouchi Trust Tower – Main, 1-8-3 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo 100-0005) or email membership-office@jalt.org within two weeks following payment before processing can proceed. Download the verification form in English, Japanese, or as a bilingual version (PDF format)): 7,000 yen
- Senior member (Available to people aged 65 and over. Verification required): 7,000 yen
- Group member (Only one copy of each publication is sent to the domestic group address if one of the group members resides in Japan): 8,500 yen per person for a group of 5 or more
- SIGs: Membership in one SIG is included in membership fees, including for each member of joint and group memberships. Joint and group members do NOT have to all join the same SIG. You can join extra SIGs at 2,000 yen for each additional SIG
- 一般会員：13,000円
- 海外一般会員：11,000円（印刷版の発送なし・オンライン版のみ）
- 5年会員：52,000円
- 共同会員（同一住所に居住する2名。出版物は1部のみ送付）：1人あたり10,500円
- 学生会員：7,000円

- グループ会員（5名以上。国内住所宛に出版物を1部送付）：1人あたり8,500円
SIG（特別興味グループ）
1つのSIGへの参加費は会費に含まれています（共同・グループ会員も同様）。
追加でSIGに参加する場合は、1つにつき2,000円の追加料金で参加できます。
