Join and Renewal Memberships

Thank you for joining JALT or renewing your membership!

After clicking on the membership category you can view details, choose options, and add the membership to your “shopping cart”.

As part of your Membership, you have the option to become a member of one chapter and one SIG. We recommend that you sign up for both of these, to enjoy more dimensions of activity that JALT offers. If, however, you wish to decline your option to join either a chapter or a SIG, please select the appropriate choices from the chapter and SIG selection lists.

For Joint and Group purchases members will be sent coupon codes to cover their membership. Emailed links will automatically add the product and the a coupon covering the purchase price.

For bank transfers and other delayed payments the payment status can be viewed in Billing Account > Orders.

If you need a receipt bearing the official JALT seal for membership, please send a request via the contact form.

Note to JCB/AmEx users: Due to JCB/AmEx user policies, we are NOT able to accept 5-year membership registrations using these cards. We apologies for any inconvenience here.

This is the standard membership for those in Japan.

Register for 5 years and receive a 20% discount on your membership fees.

For seniors who are at least 65 years of age with valid identification.

Available to full-time students of undergraduate or graduate universities, vocational schools, technical schools, or other degree-granting programs.

Joint and Group Memberships

共同会員・団体会員プラン

Instructions:

Choose how many people you want to sponsor (minimum of 2 for Joint, 5 for Group). Double check quantity at the checkout.
At checkout:
- Select “Gift to someone else”
- Choose “Send to different people”
- Enter each person’s email address
- Include the names of the group members with their email address in the “Add a note to your order” section on the Checkout page for administrative use.
After payment is approved by JCO:
- Each person will get an email with a link to complete their membership
- The link includes a coupon that covers the full cost
- For the link to work the member needs to be signed into the JALT website.
- Once they complete the check out, their membership will be active

リンクには会費を全額カバーするクーポンが含まれています。
リンクを使用するには、メンバーがJALTウェブサイトにログインしている必要があります。
チェックアウトが完了すると、会員資格が有効になります。
