What is CUE? CUEについての紹介

CUE is a Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT). CUE stands for College and University Educators, therefore CUE’s goal is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of educational activities, ideas, and research of broad interest to college and university educators in Japan. If you are involved in tertiary education and are committed to professional development, you are CUE, too. CUEとは、日本語学教育学会（JALT）の特別研究部会（SIG：Special Interest Group）のひとつで、College and University Educatorsの略称です。日本の大学教育者が広く関心を寄せる教育活動、アイデア、研究についての発表と議論の機会を提供することを目標としています。高等教育に携わり、専門能力の育成に取り組んでいるならば、あなたもCUEです。 Founded in 1993, the CUE SIG has approximately 400-500 members across Japan. Each year, CUE sponsors featured speakers for forums at various conferences and events such as the JALT International Conference and holds or co-sponsors events such as the CUE Conference (or ESP Symposium) in fall and PanSIG in spring. 1993年に設立されたCUE SIGには、全国に約400〜500人のメンバーがいます。CUEは、毎年、JALT国際大会などのさまざまな会議やイベントで特別講演者を招いてフォーラムを開き、秋にはCUE会議（またはESPシンポジウム）、春にはPanSIGなどのイベントを主催・共催しています

In addition, CUE publishes the refereed journal OnCUE Journal once or twice annually, plus OnCUE Journal Special Issue (a collection of peer-reviewed reports from the annual conference or symposium). The SIG also has an online CUE Circular newsletter published a few times per year. This provides readers with shorter, more casual descriptions of firsthand accounts of pedagogy in use in the classroom. さらに、CUEは、査読付き研究会誌『OnCUE Journal』を年に1〜2回、そして、『OnCUE Journal Special Issue』（年次大会またはシンポジウムの報告等の査読付き論文集）を随時発行しています。オンラインニュースレター「CUE Circular」も年に数回、会員の皆様にお届けしています。ニュースレターでは、教室で実際に活用している教育方法について、簡潔で分かりやすい説明を読むことができます
