Various Speakers

For JALT Toyohashi’s September meeting, we will be joining the Literature in Language Teaching SIG’s conference, “The Heart of the Matter”.
Award winning author, editor, and teacher Marcos Benevides will be giving the plenary, entitled “A lexical approach to developing western cultural fluency,” and there will be numerous other presentations related to using literature in teaching.
A post-conference meal is also planned. The cost is 6000 yen including all you can drink. If you would like to attend the dinner, please reserve in advance by emailing John Robers at roberts5413@msn.com. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve early.
The meal will be held at the Hotel Associa, Nishijuku, Hanada-cho, Toyohashi-shi, Aichi 440-0075.
