Activities of JALT CALL SIG
The JALT CALL Journal
The JALT CALL SIG publishes a quarterly international refereed journal, which is distributed to all members of the SIG. The JALT CALL Journal encompasses and builds upon the SIG newsletter, Calling Japan, and is committed to excellence in research in all areas within the field of Computer Assisted Language Learning, while at the same time offering teaching ideas and suggestions from teachers' personal experiences.
This conference is the highlight of the year for the JALT CALL SIG. It allows the members and others interested in CALL to get together, share information and network in order to discuss matters related to computer assisted language learning. The conference includes workshops and presentations, as well an area for sponsors and exhibitors to display their latest materials. Keynote and Plenary speakers are also invited to speak about their areas of expertise. There is also a networking reception. JALTCALL 2014 will be held from June 6th - June 8th, 2014 at Sugiyama Jogakuen University. The Keynote speaker will be Regine Hampel, Senior Lecturer in Modern Languages at the Open University.
