This is an informal event where people will share noticings and suggestions about pragmatics in everyday life and in the classroom. The main goal is to show that pragmatics is everywhere–when we greet each other, invite others, agree and disagree, etc.–and it is invisible when our actions and words are appropriate, but can be glaring when inappropriate or unusual.
