The presenters will share their experiences of getting started with Mobile Assisted Language Learning (MALL) and explain how they adopted an approach based on UX design.
KAYVON HAVAEI-AHARY comes from England. He has been teaching English in Japan for 8 years. He is currently teaching English and music through the use of iPads at a private junior and senior high school. He is particularly interested in MALL, cooperative learning and developing creative ways in which language can be taught in the EFL classroom.
JASON DEMSTEADER has been involved in language teaching in Japan for 20 years, having previously taught in Spain and Argentina. He is an avid user of technology in the classroom and encourages students to develop multimedia and creative thinking skills in tandem with English communication.
