For those of you interested in promoting a JALT event across the country, we have arranged for ad space in The Daily Yomiuri http://www.yomiuri.co.jp/dy/ for you to buy at very reasonable prices.
Ads can be run on any day of your choosing. However, you may want to consider including it in The Language Connection, a language education related section of the newspaper. This section appears on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with articles both for teachers and learners of English. There are two sizes of ad space available 1/16th and 1/8th page adverts. For the ad to appear in the Language Connection section only the 1/16th size ad is available, as there is limited space available.
All ads must go through the Director of Public Relations (publicity@jalt.org). The Director of Public Relations is JALT’s contact person to the Daily Yomiuri regarding our advertising contract. The earlier the ad is prepared and made available, the better chance of getting it placed when and where you want it, as well as allowing for fine-tuning of the advert itself for maximum impact and effectiveness. The absolute latest that we can work with the ad is one week before printing.

JALT関係のイベントを全国紙のDaily Yomiuriで宣伝しませんか?　広報部では、みなさんのためにお得な価格で宣伝できる広告スペースを提供することになりました。掲載可能な広告のサイズは1/8ページと1/16ページの2種類です。
広告の掲載日は何曜日でもＯＫですが、火曜日と木曜日の英語教育関係の“The Language Connection”紙面が特にお勧めです。紙面の関係上、“The Language Connection”へは1/16サイズのみとなります。
広告受付窓口は、Michael Stoutが担当しています。希望通りの紙面や掲載日で広告を載せるためになるべく早くMichaelに連絡をしてください。余裕を持って校正することで、より効果的な広告作りができます。掲載希望日の最低１週間前までに原稿を送って下さい。何か特別な希望や提案がありましたら遠慮なくご相談下さい。
別紙の申込用紙に必要事項を記入して、件名：“Yomiuri Ad Order.”で添付ファイルとして business@jalt.org まで送付してください。また実際の広告原稿はMichael Stout at publicity@jalt.org までお願いします。
広告料金に関しては、該当SIGやChapterの会計へ請求額が知らされ、口座から引き落とされます。
