Alastair Graham Marr
Associate Professor Alastair Graham-Marr’s field of study is Applied Linguistics, in particular the mechanisms of Second Language Acquisition. Currently his research centers on the role of language output in second language acquisition. Language output, the act of producing language, is needed not only to help develop fluency in a foreign language, but it also is increasingly seen as contributing to language accuracy. Thus success in a foreign language will come only with a good balance of both language input and language output.
