The field of pragmatics has become very exciting recently because of a lot of discoveries which are very applicable to the English classroom. After a brief introduction to pragmatics and its potential in foreign language teaching, the three researchers/teachers will each tell the story of one or more activities, and “do” the activities so that they can be easily understood.
