JALT’s International Conference will be held Nov. 12-15, and Hiroshima JALT is offering its annual “Sneak Peak,” featuring four high-quality presentations that will appear there. First, Donna Tatsuki will speak about “Gender and Ethnicity in MEXT Approved Textbooks.” Then, Philip Head will share a poster, entitled “Student Reflections on the Effectiveness of Shadowing and Listening Practice.” After a break, Robert Taferner will speak about “The Acquisition of Difficult English Prepositions: A usage-based approach.” Finally, Stachus Peter Tu has a presentation, entitled “Conditions Affecting EFL Learners’ Hedge Use in a LINE Discussion Forum.” Zoom breakout rooms will be utilized, and there will be Q&A.
