グローバル時代の言語教育：教室の形成、世界の形成

全国語学教育学会・第43回年次国際大会教材展示会 2017年11月17日〜2017年11月20日 つくば国際会議場（茨城県つくば市） 本年度の国際年次大会のテーマは、この多文化世界における外国語能力の必要性と、グローバル時代に困難を乗り越えて活躍するための準備を学生にさせるという、教員に課せられた使命を取り上げています。このテーマは、我々の学生が世界中から来る外国人観光客、隣人、そして同僚と接触する機会の増加、言語学習を高める新しいコミュニケーション・テクノロジーの出現、そして教員が「グローバルに考え、ローカルで教える」ことの必要性を謳っています。 本大会での発表内容は次のように広範囲にわたります。 国際的なテーマを教室に導入する内容重視の教授法 海外留学プログラムの重要性 言語教育におけるインターネット・テクノロジーの役割 言語テスト及び評価の世界基準 世界言語としての英語とその教育のあり方 JALT2017は、言語研究者、カリキュラム開発者、教材作成者、そして教員がともに言語教育分野における新機軸について語り合うことができる貴重な場となるでしょう。また、世界的に著名な専門家の話を聞き、最新の教材に触れ、JALTの２７にも及ぶ分科会と交流するまたとない機会ともなるでしょう。本年度のグローバルなテーマを鑑みれば、本大会が、学術研究の中心地であり、かつ画期的な「Expo 1985 つくば万博」が開催されたつくば市で開催されることは至極もっともなことであると考えます。 さあ、今からJALT2017へ参加する準備を始めてください。 それでは、１１月につくば市でお会いしましょう。 キップ A. ケイツ JALT2017国際年次大会実行委員会 会長 第43回全国語学教育学会年次国際大会は、一般社団法人つくば観光コンベンション協会及び つくば市からのご協力を得て開催いたします。 JALT2017は、下記の機関より後援をいたた”いております。 文部科学省 国際交流基金 日本学術会議 つくば市 茨城県教育委員会 つくば市教育委員会
