Hello everyone!

We warmly invite you to join the next LD get-together of 2022 on Sunday 25th September 14:30-17:00. All members are welcome to join and share their experiences.

Friends and Support

We are a friendly group and all enjoy gathering and sharing new ideas about LD that we can apply in our classrooms. Whether this is your first time or your fortieth, please come along!

What we might be doing

As this is our first Get-together for 3 months, there is a lot of catching up to do, so we will spend some time reconnecting and refocusing ourselves on LD matters. We will also be thinking ahead to the JALT National Conference and the Tsukuba Conference in December (Autonomous and Interactive Practices in Language Learning (Online Conference)) amongst other things.

In addition, we are still in pursuit of topics around which we can form reading groups. We might be close to identifying a few common threads that unite us around particular LD interests. So far this year, we have identified among others the following topics:

1. Project-based learning

2. Dialogic pedagogy

3. Learning beyond the classroom

4. Assessment
