Yamagata

Yamagata JALT hosts several meetings throughout the year related to teaching and working in an EFL context in Japan. Many of our events focus on teaching at the university level. However, we occasionally have workshops that support teaching English in elementary school, middle school, and high school settings. In December each year, our Chapter hosts a review of talks, workshops, and forums presented at JALT’s national conference in November. Our meetings are typically held on the third Saturday of the month from 1pm until 3pm. Social gatherings usually follow our events. We have resumed face-to-face sessions from 2022 at Yamagata University’s Kojirakawa Campus. Please contact us at the email address below for more information.
