First OGM of 2020

It is our pleasure to let you know that the First JALT Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) of 2020 will be held as follows below:

Date: 13 June 2020 (Saturday), 18:00 – 19:00
Location: Fukui-shi, Fukui
For those wishing to attend virtually, please indicate when you submit your absentee ballot (deadline: Friday, June 12). Details of attendance procedures will be sent in a separate message after your JALT membership is verified.

Item 9: Addition of Overseas Group Category of Membership and Related Fees

Note: All JALT members are asked to please vote by absentee ballot to accept the reports, the election result, and the motion.

Please note that we need at least half of JALT members to vote in order to have a valid OGM.
If your membership is current, you will get a message with a link to a personalized ballot. This message will be sent 25 May 2020.
If you have any trouble using the link to the personalized ballot, please use the generic ballot (https://jalt.org/ogm-ballot-2020-01) and fill in your name, chapter and JALT ID (if known) in order to vote.
If you do not get the message with your personalized ballot, please contact membership-office@jalt.org to confirm your membership status.
The absentee voting period will end on 13 June 2020 at 12:00 p.m. (noon), but please vote as early as you can to help us be assured of having a quorum at the OGM.
