2020 PAC Conference Postponed

The 60th Philippine Association for Language Teaching (PALT) Anniversary and 2020 Pan-Asian Consortium (PAC) International Conference will be held at the Angeles University Foundation, Angeles City, Pampanga on December 3-5, 2020. The conference theme is Language Education for ALL (Asians Learning Languages). The deadline for proposals is June 30th. The Pan-Asian Consortium (PAC), of which JALT is a member, will be holding its conference alongside the PALT conference. In addition to sending an official representative to the main PALT conference, JALT gets two additional un-vetted slots at the PALT PAC conference. If you would like to be considered for one of these slots, please read on.
JALT is to pre-vet the proposals and decide who the two presenters will be. If you are interested in this opportunity, then please submit your proposal to the International Affairs Committee (IAC) Chair, Andrew Tweed: International@jalt.org

Please note that you should submit your PAC proposal to the IAC chair and NOT to PALT. The IAC has set a deadline of May 30th. After receiving these, the proposals will be anonymized and forwarded to a team of JALT reviewers who will blind review them. The two best proposals will be selected. These will get automatic acceptance at the 2020 PAC conference at PALT.
Please note that the presenters will be responsible for their own financial arrangements, including conference registration fee, flight, and hotel.
