Rest in Peace, Buzz Green

It is with sadness that the Board of Directors would like to inform the JALT Membership that a dear friend, and former Director of Membership, Buzz Green, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Buzz was the Gifu Chapter Membership Chair from 2007-2010, the Conference Publicity Chair in 2010, the Director of Membership from 2011-2014, and the Teaching Young Learners SIG Membership Chair from 2015-2016. Buzz taught and inspired many young English language learners in the rural areas of Japan where she worked, and brightened each JALT meeting she attended with her infectious laugh. Buzz had recently returned to the UK to be with her family.
