Just as important as all those presentations, workshops, and forums is the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones. This year we have plenty of opportunities for just that.
Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception

If you are coming to Nagoya early to attend a TnT workshop, to get a head start on networking and collaborating, or just to settle in before things get busy, we invite you to join the conference organizers, overseas delegates, the President and other JALT officers, and your fellow early birds at the Wine and Cheese Welcome Reception on Friday, November 25. Stop by and say “Hello” and start your conference weekend with a friendly chat over a free glass of wine or tea and light refreshments before heading out to dinner with old friends or new ones. There are many restaurants located in the basement of WINC Aichi and in the shopping arcades that lead to the station.
Best of JALT
Saturday, 7:30 PM-9:30 PM, Shooters Sports Bar and Grill
This year’s Best of JALT reception will be held offsite at Shooters Sports Bar and Grill. We will have the entire venue to ourselves for our reception from 7:30 to 9:30 but we are welcome to stay even later. Shooters is located one subway stop from Nagoya Station; directions on their website.
