Special Events at JALT2016

The JALT International Conference is an event for sharing the best in language education research and practice, but it is also the event for language teachers in Japan to meet, discuss, and celebrate.

As well as the plenary sessions and featured speaker workshops, there are some other special events that we hope attendees will not want to miss.
Graduate Student Showcase: Saturday (26th), 10:55 AM – 7:15 PM; Sunday (27th), 9:35 AM – 6:40 PM
International Forum: Transformations in Language Education Saturday, 12:05 PM-1:35 PM, Rm 1207
NPO JALT Ordinary General Meeting: Sunday (27th), 5:45 PM – 6:45 PM
Social Events
Just as important as all those presentations, workshops, and forums is the chance to catch up with old friends and make new ones. This year we have plenty of opportunities for just that.
Welcome Reception: Friday (25th), 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Best of JALT: Saturday, (26th), 7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
