Positions Available: Technology Advisory Committee
At the recent JALT Executive Board Meeting in Hiroshima, JALT created the new Technology Advisory Committee. At this point, we need a chair and several members for the committee. These are great opportunities for JALT members to become more involved at the national level, influence how JALT works online, learn about technology, develop and demonstrate management skills, and work with a great team of people.
Rationale for the committee: Technology of all kinds is important to the efficient functioning of JALT and to supporting our future development. Information communication technology in particular requires careful consideration in adoption and use with regard to efficiency, user-friendliness, privacy, legal issues, personnel policies, and costs.
