JALT Publications includeย The Language Teacher,ย JALT Journal, andย The JALT Postconference Publication.
Theย JALT Publications Boardย is tasked with overseeing the operations of JALTโs three publications:ย JALT Journalย (JJ),ย The Language Teacherย (TLT), and theย Post-Conference Publicationย (PCP). This includes staff appointments, budgeting, policy making, and mediation when required. The Board meets twice a yearโonce at the annual conference, and once on a fall weekendโin addition to regular communication during the year. The Board is made up of the editors of each of the publications and is overseen by theย Publications Board Chair. It may also invite other staff to join meetings as need arises.
