Whether you use an assigned textbook, a commercial text of your own choice, authentic materials, student-generated content or a combination thereof, there are many ways you can easily enrich the lesson with the addition of a component promoting awareness of gender issues. In this workshop, I will introduce a selection of examples from various genres, including anime, movies, music and news, and encourage participants to brainstorm about ways to incorporate such materials into your repertoire.
