Back to School 2026 is Osaka JALT’s 16th annual spring conference sharing ideas on a wide range of topics related to language teaching and learning in a low-key environment to help everyone in the new academic year.

This year’s conference will again be in person at Osaka Jogakuin University, near Tamatsukuri station on the JR Loop Line and Nagahori Tsurumi-Ryokuchi Metro line. As in recent years, we will have about 50 presentations. We will again have an after-conference dinner party at a nearby restaurant, and this year we will also have a pre-conference social event the day before the conference (April 25).

Pre-registration is now open, and RSVPs for pre- and post-conference dinner parties are now open as well, and, though not required, really help us in our final preparations for the conference and allow us to let the security guard at the gate know who to expect.
