Description: We have three speakers lined up to present some innovative ideas about language teaching.
1. First presentation (13:00 – 14:15)
Featured Speaker: Suzanne Bonn, Nanzan University
Presentation Title: From Reading Circles to Culture Circles
Suzanne will illustrate how the presenter took the concept of the Oxford Reading Circles to a new level through the innovation of Culture Circles.
2. Second presentation (14:30 – 15:10):
Presenter: Li Wei, Ibaraki University
Presentation Title: The influence of English vocabulary strategy on basic education in China
3. Third presentation (15:20 – 16:00):
Presenter: Takayuki Nakanshi, Tokiwa University
Presentation Title: Research Method. Statistical Issues Part 1.;: What if you have two groups to compare?
Takayuki will demonstrate some statistical research methods for academic research.
4. Fourth presentation (16:10 – 16:50):
Presenter: Atsuko Ueda, Ibaraki University
Presentation on ER (title to be announced)
Atsuko will present tasks and projects for extensive reading classes.
