JALT Teacher Development SIG (TD SIG) & JALT Hokkaido
The Teacher Development Special Interest Group (TD SIG) & JAlT Hokkaido invites abstract submissions for its annual Teacher Journeys conference, to be held on Sunday, August 23rd, in Hakodate, Hokkaido.
A networking dinner is also planned for the evening before, Saturday, August 22nd.
Teacher Journeys provides a forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to share innovative practices and research informed by professional experience. This year’s theme highlights educators’ stories, journeys, and professional growth, particularly where these are informed by theoretical or research-based perspectives. We welcome submissions that align with this theme, as well as contributions that address broader issues in teacher development and language education.
Consistent with the mission of TD SIG, presentations should offer both academic and practical value, with opportunities for discussion and engagement. Both new and experienced presenters are encouraged to submit. Presentation formats will include either 25- or 40-minute sessions, followed by discussion.
Abstract submissions are open until Tuesday, July 21st. Applicants will receive a response within one week of submission. Accepted presenters will be provided with guidance and support throughout the presentation process.
