PresentERs – Beyond Reading Volume: What a Decade of Reading Coaching Reveals

We will have a short presentation about Extensive Reading from Ella Jung on Sunday August 30th, at 19:00. The event will involve a short 20-30 minute presentation from our PresentER, followed by around 20-30 minutes of questions and discussion. PresentERs takes place on the last Sunday of each month online on Zoom. It is free for anyone to attend.
Abstract:
Extensive Reading is not just about increasing reading volume. Drawing on ten years of coaching young EFL learners, this presentation examines how teacher coaching helps students build lasting reading habits, reading confidence, and a strong reader identity that supports long-term literacy growth.
Bio：
Ella Jung is the Director of Research at the Korea Reading Specialist Association and head of Kids & Reading. She mainly teaches Korean elementary and secondary school students.
