Getting to EPOCHAL Tsukuba
Tsukuba has very easy access from the Tokyo area. Taking a highway bus from Narita Airport or Tokyo Station is quite convenient and takes about an hour, while from Haneda Airport it is less than two hours. The Tsukuba Express from Akihabara Station only takes about 45 minutes and choosing a hotel at a station along this line may be convenient, especially for combining the conference with visiting Tokyo.

From Sendai to Tokyo Station: 1 hour 45 minutes plus transfer to Akihabara and Tsukuba Express. Total time about 2 hours 45 minutes.
