The College and University Educators (CUE) SIG and the Gender Awareness in Language Education (GALE) SIG will jointly hold the following conference this October:
2026 CUE and GALE SIG Conference: Equipping Students for Tomorrow: Equity, Identity, and Agency in English Language Education

The abstract submission deadline has been extended to August 7, 2026, at 23:59 JST.
We welcome the following presentation formats:
- Poster presentations
- Research-oriented PowerPoint presentations
- Practice-oriented PowerPoint presentations
Presentation topics may relate to CUE, GALE (including contexts outside of college and university teaching), or both SIGs.
Registration is now open, with early-bird rates available until September 20, 2026:
- ยฅ5,000 for JALT members
- ยฅ7,000 for non-members
This conference is a wonderful opportunity to foster dialogue among JALT members. We also encourage those who are new to the field to submit presentations, as presenters will have the opportunity to publish their work in a peer-reviewed journal.
