JALT Award for Early Career Excellence*

The Early Career Excellence Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of language teaching by individuals within JALT. This award is bestowed annually upon a JALT member who demonstrates an example of excellence early in their career which has a broad impact on and implications for the language teaching field. Nominees for this award likely have up to ten years of experience or are re-entering the field after an extended period, or are recent graduates of degree programs (bachelorโs, masterโs, doctoral).

JALT Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of language teaching by individuals within JALT. This award is bestowed annually upon a JALT member who has demonstrated excellence in teaching and/or research throughout their career and has a broad impact on and implications for the language teaching field.
