Where performance meets collaboration in education
The Performance in Education (PIE) SIG brings classrooms to life through drama, debate, and performance-based learning. Our mission is to make education more creative, engaging, and collaborative. We also participate in many collaborative activities with JALT chapters and SIGs, tapping into regional bases to attract diverse participants and enjoying the benefits of working with new colleagues with different approaches and talents.

What We Do
We co-host conferences with chapters like Yokohama, Hokkaido, and Okinawa JALT, an important collaborator with PIE. We also work closely with SIGs such as Learner Development, BRAIN, and Critical Thinking. We are more than just events and conferences. We are a community that supports each other.
