It’s such a thrill to write a direct, positive report like this one – we had a well-attended event (just shy of the 21 person max capacity), lovely conversation, and an engaging look at a lan.guage-learner’s journey over an incredible diversity of languages and contexts: I am of course speaking about Kip Cates. Takeaways are the inherent curiousity encountered when you know just enough about a language to start playing with it to understand signs, recognize greetings and introductions, and possibly find something entirely new about the world around you. What a lovely event!
