JALT now has a Global Englishes Special Interest Group! For the SIGs purposes, Global Englishes is taken to include World Englishes, English as a Lingua Franca/Multilingua Franca, English as an International Language, Translanguaging, Multilingualism, Native-speakerism, and related areas.
The SIG aims to promote interest and understanding in these areas through events, forums, seminars, presentations, and publications, that empower leaners and educators alike. Feel free to join us!
