Contribute to the environmental levy to help offset the conference’s carbon footprint when you register for the conference or by dropping some cash in our collection box at the conference.
Take the train instead of flying
Join our Environmental Committee Meeting! (Saturday, 3:50-4:50, Rm 501)
Reduce trash
Bring your own mug for coffee! (At JALT2022, you’ll get a 50 yen discount on coffee or tea if you bring your own mug!)
Make sure to put your trash in the correct bin
Sign up to help us collect and sort the trash (or, just show up at the waste base at the venue)
Donate paper bags – we can recycle paper, but we need paper bags to put it in. Starbucks takeout bags work well, for example
