Dr. Andy Boon of Toyo Gakuen University presented on the benefits of Extensive Reading (ER), how to set up and operated an ER course in specific and an ER Program in specific, and shared of his own experiences as a creator of ER materials. Furthermore, he shared ideas on how to build a personal or an institutional ER library.
This weekend was a good time to be interested in TD or PD as there were several events going on at the same time across the Kanto region and beyond. As such, turnout was not huge, but those who came certainly were able to gain a lot of great ideas and were engaged and inquisitive.
