JALT Teaching Children (TC) SIG and the Junior and Senior High School (JSHS) SIG will host the 13th annual JALT Junior conference. JALT Junior is a concurrent conference within the main JALT conference. It is a unique opportunity for teachers of very young learners, elementary, and secondary students to focus on issues important to them. There will be practical workshops, research reports, panel discussions, and poster sessions.
In addition, the JALT Junior Plenary speaker this year is the singer, storyteller, author, playwright and performing artist, Bill Harley. A two-time Grammy award-winning artist and recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. Bill is a widely popular performer, author, and keynote speaker.
