Why join the Lifelong Language Learning SIG?
You'd be joining the growing group of teachers across Japan who recognize that older learners are special, with their own particular needs and dreams.
An LLLSIG membership gives you:
- Subscription to [The LLL SIG Newsletter (TOLd You So!)] — our 3-times a year online newsletter with news, views, and opinions from teachers and researchers working with older learners.
- Membership of the [LLL SIG mail list] — giving you instant connection to other teachers interested in older learners in colleges, schools, companies and centers all over Japan.
How do I join the Lifelong Language Learning SIG?
There are three options:
- Post Office — Fill out the postal deposit form (yuubin furikae youshi) at the back of The Language Teacher, mark LLL as the SIG you want to join and take it to a post office with ¥1,500.
- Online (National Members only) — Go to the [online renewal link] and mark LLL as the SIG you want to join.
- Inform LLL SIG Membership Chair — Contact [Membership Chair] for further details.
One year membership costs only ¥1,500 and will run until your current JALT membership expires. So you get the best value for money by joining LLLSIG when you renew your JALT membership.
