日本語教育研究部会（JSL SIG）の役割は、第二言語としての日本語指導、日本語学習、日本語教育研究の向上を目指し、指導、学習、研究のための資料や情報を提供することです。日本語の指導者、学習者、研究者の皆様の加入を歓迎します。ニュースレターと日本語教育論文集を発行しています。皆様の寄稿をお待ちしています。

日本語教育ニュースレター第６巻２号を２００９年１２月に発行しました。日本語教育研究部会員に発送しました。

The mission of the Japanese as a Second Language Special Interest Group (JSL SIG) of the Japan Association for Language Teaching (JALT) is to serve as a resource for promoting JSL teaching, learning and research. We welcome JSL teachers, learners, and researchers to join and take an active role in our SIG. We sponsor presentations, and publish a newsletter twice a year and a journal once a year.

The Japanese as a Second Language Newsletter, Vol. 6, No. 2, was published in December 2009. Each JSL SIG member was sent a link to download a copy.
