JSL JALT SIG

日本語教育研究部会（JSL SIG）の役割は、第二言語としての日本語指導、日本語学習、日本語教育研究の向上を目指し、指導、学習、研究のための資料や情報を与えることです。日本語の指導者、学習者、研究者の皆様加入大歓迎です。発表の援助をし、ニュースレターと論文集を発行するので論文・記事の寄稿を歓迎します。

The mission of the Japanese as a Second Language (JSL) SIG is to serve as a resource for promoting JSL teaching, learning and research. We welcome JSL teachers, learners, and researchers to join and take an active role in our SIG. We sponsor presentations, and publish a newsletter and a journal. Article submissions are welcome.

Call for Papers: JALT Journal of Japanese Language Education

論文・記事大募集：JALT日本語教育論集を２００８年１２月３０日に発行。論文、研究報告、評論、小論、手紙など、募集。日本語研究者、指導者、学習者の皆、様応募お願いします。原稿締め切りは２００８年１１月２０日。

投稿ガイドライン：長さ：30ページ以内。様式：英語ではAPAスタイルで。日本語では特になし。コンピュータフォーマット：ワード。言語：論文はどの言語でもよいです。筆者の名前と所属は英語と日本語で書いてください。筆者の略歴（25字以内）とEメールアドレス。日本語のフォントはMS明朝(あるいはそれに近いもの)12ポイント。英語のフォントはTimes New Roman（あるいはそれに近いもの）12ポイント。シングルスペースで。

Japanese as a second language researchers, teachers and learners are invited to contribute articles, research reports, essays, reviews, and letters. Submission due date is November 20, 2008, and publication date is December 30, 2008.

A brief summary of contribution guidelines: length is one page minimum, 30 pages maximum. Style format is APA style if English. Any style format acceptable if in Japanese. Computer format is Word file (.doc). Articles written in any language acceptable. Writer's name and affiliation should be in English and Japanese. Writer's biodata (25 words or less) with email address to be published. Font "ＭＳ明朝" (or something similar) 12 point for Japanese. Font "Times New Roman" (or something similar) 12 point for English. Lines on a page should be single-spaced, not double-spaced.

We published the JALT Journal of Japanese Language Education, Volume 9, No. 1, in December 2007. The journal is sent to all JSL SIG members.
