Research has shown visualization can help language learners connect conceptual academic language from the L1 to the L2. Structured study of Greek and Latin roots and affixes can further expand academic language. In this presentation participants will learn how to use these two related, research-based methods to transform instruction by creating word walls in various formats including a virtual word wall using Prezio. Resources for developing Greek and Latin study programs will also be provided.
