Teacher Learning Communities (TLC) and the Wiki Teacher

Exciting possibilities for being connected to others and co-constructing quality information and processes are on the rise. One's "wikiness" (connectedness) with others can be both exciting and exhausting at times. This presentation looks at how one can become more conscious of all the possibilities for connectedness (with one's students, colleagues, family, organizations, etc.), filter out the connections that may not be useful to you and focus on those you wish to enhance, and balance the demands upon us so we remain productive. We will also look at how we can encourage the intergroup connectedness of the different groups that we work with so that they might learn more from each other, as we are doing at this conference.
