| Masa Tsuneyasu is a full-time lecturer at Utsunomiya University. She completed a Master's Degree in Applied Linguistics (TESOL emphasis) at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City. Her research interests are students' learning motivation and classroom interaction.

Leander Hughes is an assistant professor of English at the Saitama University Center for English Education Development. His research interests include learner autonomy, communicative task effectiveness, teaching English for academic purposes and computer assisted language learning. Leander's editing and publishing experience includes a position as editor in chief of the 2007 Temple University Japan Studies in Applied Linguistics: An Anthology of Grammar Activities. He is also a member of the editorial board for the Studies in Self Access Learning (SiSAL) Journal (as of November, 2011).

Brad Semans has taught English in Japan for more than 8 years. He runs a successful private teaching business specializing in elementary aged children with exceptional language experience and ability. He also works directly for the Saitama City Board of Education and its schools. His research interests include practical application of theory in the classroom and teacher training. Though a junior editor, Brad has in depth experience as a reader of academic journals and research.

Ruth Kambartel is associate professor at Saitama University Faculty of Economics. Her teaching and her research include English and German Language Education, Social Studies, and Philosophy. She is reviewing English and German texts for the editorial committee of The Social Science Review published by The Economics Society of Saitama University. |
