The dead end of public English education in Japan

Japan’s public education system for English as a foreign language is driving down a dead end road. Part 1 will show the significant number of verifiable errors in the grammar and lexis of many English textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education. These errors can be linked to the false assumption that Japanese cannot learn English except through translation.
