A Four-Step Process for Critical Thinking Instruction
This co sponsored presentation will feature two speakers who will impart some of their wisdom and own critical thoughts on the subjects of critical thinking instruction for students and resources and activities for teachers.
This event will include a morning presentation on extensive reading by Kevin Stein from 10.15 - 11.45.
Unfortunately the family day event under the cherry blossoms of Nara Koen has been cancelled due to bad weather, however we hope to see a large audience for Kevin's interesting talk.
Beyond the Controversy
This years annual Tenri conference will examine the debates between the classroom teachers and the Monkasho which implements the policies to reinforce English education.

The last JALT event of this year will be the all-Kansai JALT Bonenkai on Sat., Dec. 14 (6-9pm). This year it's organized by Osaka chapter and will be a Pub Quiz format at the Blarney Stone Irish Pub in Umeda. Please join us for some finale fun saying sayonara to the Year of the Water Snake. NaraJALT will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Sunday the 29th of September from 2pm in the afternoon following our invited speaker for our September conference. We invite all members, friends and interested people to join us for this event.
